2014 CYC Toy Drive a HUGE Success!

St. Louis CYC players and families embraced the Christmas spirit by donating over 180 toys and gift cards in our annual toy drive!!  Thank you for making this project a huge success and making Christmas merrier for many families in the area!

Catie Harding Verbally Commits to Rider University!

Catie Harding, who plays for CYC 181, has verbally committed to play collegiate volleyball at Rider University.   

Congrats to Catie from all of the St. Louis CYC Volleyball Family!

Rider University is part of the NCAA Division I Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) along with Canisius, Fairfield, Iona, Manhattan College, Marist, Monmouth, Niagara, Quinnipiac, St. Peter's, and Siena.

CYC Alumnae Faith Rowles Named DIII National Player of the Week

Congratulations to CYC alumnae Faith Rowles (DePauw, S, Junior) who was named Division III National Player of the Week after a fantastic performance at DePauw's first tournament of the season, including an upset of #2 Emory!!

Congratulations to Catie Harding, AAU All-American!!

After helping her CYC 17-1 team to a 5th place finish in 17 Open at AAUs in Orlando last month, Catie Harding brought home some hardware when she was named an All-American!

Five CYC Teams Finish the Season at the USAV Junior National Championships

With the club season coming to a close, six St. Louis CYC teams look to end their seasons on a high note.

CYC 17-1 started things off last week with an impressive top 8 finish at AAU Junior Nationals!  Congratulations to the team on a fantastic performance!

This week, CYC 12-1, 13-1, 14-1, 15-1, and 18-1 all compete in Minneapolis at the USAV Junior National Championships.  Follow the action using the link the below!

St. Louis CYC Volleyball Camps - Summer 2014

St. Louis CYC Volleyball Club is pleased to offer several camps this summer.
ALL camps will be held at The CENTER-St. Louis (6727 Langley Ave, Affton, MO 63123).

'TOTS' ALL SKILLS CAMP
July 20 & 27
3:30 - 5:00pm

This camp is offered to girls 8-10 years of age and will be run by current St. Louis CYC coaches.  The camp will focus on teaching basic volleyball skills such as forearm passing, attacking, setting, overhand serving, etc.  In addition, we will introduce digging, blocking, and plenty of agilities.  Skills will be introduced in presentation form, reinforced in drills, and put into play.


POSITIONAL SKILLS CAMPS
July 13, 20, 27 & August 3
5:00 - 6:30pm or 6:30 - 8:00pm

These camps are designed for girls entering 6th - 9th grades and will be run by current St. Louis CYC coaches.  There will be a maximum of 16 athletes per camp in order to provide quality instruction with a low coach to player ratio.  All athletes will be instructed on the overall responsibilities of the position and the importance of aggressive serving.  Jump floats, jump top spin, and spot serving will be introduced and reinforced at every session.

Available position camps include:  Passing & Defensive Boot Camp, Outside Hitter Clinic, Setter Boot Camp, and Middle Blocker Clinic.

Korrine Croft Verbally Commits to Southeast Missouri State!

Last night, for the first time ever, all 8 CYC teams were practicing in same location!  Teams took advantage of this unique occurrence and did a little club bonding.  Check out the pictures below of the players and coaches who were present.
