More CYC Qualifier Action at Big South in Atlanta

The qualifier season continues in Atlanta this weekend at the Big South National Qualifier.

Over 7000 volleyball players will be in attendance including members of CYC's 14 Green, 15 Green, and 17 Green teams!

17 Green Qualifies at MEQ

Congratulations to CYC 17 Green for earning an Open bid to the 2012 Junior National Championship this past weekend at the Mideast Qualifier in Indianapolis!

The team went 8-2 in match play and had the highest point ratio of all 40 teams in the 17 Open division.

Way to go, 17 Green!  We are proud of you!

Faith Rowles Commits to DePauw University

Congratulations to CYC 18 Green team member Faith Rowles who recently committed to DePauw University!

Faith is the final member of CYC 18 Green's 2012 class to commit to play volleyball at the collegiate level next year!  Congratulations to all of these seniors... we look forward to seeing you in action next year!

CYC 13 Green wins MEQ!

Congratulations to CYC 13 Green, the champions of the 13 National division of the Mid-East National Qualifier held in St. Louis this past weekend!  

The team won three straight matches in the gold bracket on Sunday, defeating OVA 13 Asics (25-18, 25-18) in the final match to claim the championship.

In other MEQ action:

CYC 14 Green went 5-2 on the weekend and finished 9th in the 14 National division.

CYC 12 Green went 6-3 on the weekend and finished 28th in the 12 Club division.

CYC 12 Blue went 4-4 on the weekend and finished 35th in the 12 Club division.

All four teams played great volleyball and represented St. Louis CYC well!
